It needs XDarwin, looks ugly and compiles buggy. MacOSX compilation sucks.įinally I got myself a Mac - First trials of compiling BUZZle under MacOSX shows: it sucks. * Still the same nasty bugs, but due to BUZE's progress I got some good hints for improvements * Some minor improvements to the GUI and the logfiles Sorry for having you guys wait for so long.! New version of Lazarus gives *A LOT* of useful hints on compilation ) (there are still situations where it can occur) * Does anyone got the time and passion to start up a CVS/Subversion for BUZZle? Would be kind of useful, don't you think? Just eMail me! * Started some Mac OSX development, but it's not that comfortable to do. I'm currently suffering from my end-term tests at university * Did some OSX trials, but DLL-loading is still messy (ideas anyone?) * Python integration in one of the next releases I just found out, that a friend of mine is actually one of the FPC lead coders! Haven't noticed it in all that years -) 01:00 cet: World is a f****n' village!.OpenGL/DirectX, GTK, HTML/AJAX are planned * Currently Windows-GDI and Text mode TurboVision are being implemented. * To solve the everlasting problem of "which GUI should I use?" I started coding a thing called "G2UI" - it's a General Graphical User Interface library that will allow the BUZZle GUI to be interpreted in different ways Delphi simply compiles faster and time is money as we all know I did some source code "hygiene" so that BUZZle can now be compiled using Delphi and/or FreePascal. * Discussing several attempts for non-windows Buzz-Machine loading * Cooperating with Andreas Beschorner to get the anticipated OS-independent GUI So much work in my company! Plans for next year: Get some more time off to get the next release done
